is this the sharpest knife ever well when we try the iconic left knife from binging with babish the most common question was okay i tried three different knives from the top selling set and the serrated knife is excellent but i won't use it much since it is mainly used to cut the bread the chef's knife is light and since it's 8 inches it's perfect for me to cut any large foods such as papaya or pineapple and this little beast is so versatile i will be using it for my precision work to make all kinds of garnishes and it cuts ice as easily as peeling a potato skin yes they're exceptionally sharp out of the box and keep their edge for a reasonable amount of time but of course it doesn't matter if you buy an expensive knife or the rubbish knife for 20 dollars it's important to maintain the sharpness and use the sharpening stones i do the satisfying process about once a month and my knives cut everything like warm butter
